Essential Client Information

These Terms & Conditions shall apply to the sale of any Goods or services by us (Sharon Eld Saddle Fitting) to you by telephone or through our website. These Conditions set out the entire agreement to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions. We reserve the right to alter these Conditions at any time. You shall be subject to the terms in force at the time you place an order with us, unless the changes made by us are required by law, in which case we shall notify you of the changes.

Charges 

Fees are payable for every consultation and cover our time, advice and knowledge which has been acquired over a long period such as the profession requires. A major investment in qualifications and ongoing Continual Professional Development ensures the advice given is up to date and current.

  • Saddle fitting charges cover consultation for one horse only
  • Any additional horses at the same location will be charged as agreed prior to initial appointment.
  • A deposit of 50% may be required on all orders for services or goods supplied at the time of booking
  • Fitting charges for saddles, adjustments, flocking along with any other expenses incurred such as travel will be made in full on the day of fitting
  • Any repairs identified on day of fitting will be quoted for before we commence work. Payment for this service will be required in full once the item is returned or repaired
  • Any faults in services or items supplied should be notified within 14 days. 

Appointments 

  • Any behavioural issues your horse may have should be disclosed prior to booking
  • Any relevant veterinary history should be disclosed when booking your fitting
  • Please provide as much information as possible about your current situation, horse type, size, saddle type etc when booking
  • In busy periods please allow 2/3 weeks’ notice when booking an appointment
  • Should you notice a change in your horse we will endeavour to attend as soon as possible depending on availability.
  • Please allow a suitable amount of time (20/30 mins) either side of the appointment to allow the fitter to attend if there are any unforeseen circumstances such as travel hold ups etc.
  • Saddles should be checked every 3 to 6 months to ensure a correct balance and fit, each rider is responsible to maintain these appointments
  • Your horse may change shape over time, losing or gaining weight or a simple loss of fitness. Should you become aware that your horse’s anatomy has changed, you will need to book an appointment and be reassessed for balance and fit.
  • The Welfare of the animals is the most important thing, if we see a horse is lame or sore around the saddle area, we reserve the right to refuse to continue with the appointment
  • Your horse should be presented clean and dry and free from mud. 

Riding Requirements (day of appointment) 

  • A full risk assessment will be undertaken at the premises to ensure precise fit
  • A suitable area for riding must be provided to carry out the risk assessment
  • Please have all required equipment and tack etc. to carry out risk assessment on day of fitting
  • Should your saddle fail the risk assessment sharoneldsaddlefitters.co.uk reserve the right to continue the appointment

Cancellation 

  • Cancellations on the day of service will be charged in full
  • Any saddle fitting appointments cancelled within 5 days prior to original appointment will be refunded or transferred to a rescheduled appointment
  • Failure to attend the appointment at the allotted time will result in full payment

Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made by bank transfer prior to or on the day of the appointment
